HAIR CUTTING CLASS

Program

This course is intended for anyone (beginners, beauticians, hairstylists...) seeking to learn the basics of hair cutting techniques. In 3 weeks, you will be able to do perfect hair cutting using the techniques learnt at the academy with our best and well-known educators in Kuwait and MENA region. This exclusive pack includes 15 sessions (90 minutes each), whereby in the end students will obtain a certificate of qualification. During the training, we offer you the ability to discover how to professionally use the different hair cutting tools & everything related to cutting methods which will be done through our practical classes, and it covers all the Hair Cutting Content.

ABOUT THE EDUCATOR

We introduce to you our Lead Trainer/Educator at the Hair Care Department, Mr. Wajdi, the master colorist of GOLDWELL GMBH, holding two Certificates in Training Communication methods. Mr. Wajdi attended International Training & development seminars in Europe and the Middle East, and he has been with the Jothen Academy for the past 15 years. His department became the main reference for best Salons and Students in Kuwait.

Application & hands-on

The students need Hands-on to become better hairdressers, so we emphasize on the practical training to give the opportunity to each one of them to practice, make mistakes, and learn. Students need to have their own tools and products to work with. Sharing tools is prohibited to maintain a hygienic atmosphere for everyone. A list of tools needed for the class will be obtained upon registration.

REGISTRATION TERMS AND CONDITIONS

Short classes should be paid upfront upon registration, Fee for the Hair Cutting Class is KD225

Methods of payment accepted: debit/credit card, cash, bank transfer.

The Academy doesn't offer a scholarship for this program.

ATTENDANCE POLICY

Students should attend all classes daily (excluding weekend days).

A pattern of absences may affect a student’s grade substantially, whereby your attendance is 10% of your total grade.

Missed sessions will not be repeated.

The Class trainer/educator, in full coordination with the administration, is the direct authority responsible for the implementation of the Attendance Policy.

The academy only validates absences related to medical excuse upon need and only when requested by the administration.

The student is responsible for the material presented during his/her absence.

EXAMS & CLASSES

Classes are held from Sunday to Thursday, starting at 09:00 AM to 17:00 PM

The student must get 70% or above on the following exams to get their Certificate:

The student must get 76% or above on the following exams to get their official Diploma:

3. Coloring

4. Cutting

5. Styling

6. Treatment

7. Hair Extensions

*The Graduation Exam consists 100% of the total score.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION

- All students wishing to enroll in this training program must be at least 17 years of age when the course starts

- The Academy will make its best efforts to offer you the knowledge needed and all the modern techniques.

- The course is Bilingual (Arabic & English).

- A certificate of participation in a hair cutting training course shall be issued.

- All trainings are delivered by permanent and/or adjunct teachers.
